The Solar Energy Manager A is a solar power management module supporting charging 3.7V 18650 lithium batteries via solar panels and USB interface. Features MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) and charge-discharge protection with 5V/3.1A regulated output.

Mounting Design¶

PCB Holes As shown in the image above, the PCB has mounting holes with a diameter of 3mm for M2.5 screw installation.

Screws The screws used are M2.5x5, with an outer diameter of 2.5mm and a length of 5mm, designed to be used with heat-set inserts.

Heat-Set Inserts The heat-set inserts are embedded in the 3D printed parts. During installation, the insert is heated and pressed into the pre-designed hole to ensure a secure fit. The specifications for the heat-set insert are M2.5x4x4, with an inner diameter of 2.5mm, a height of 4mm, and an outer diameter of 4mm.
